Tips:

  • Prep your veggies: Dice your vegetables into small, uniform pieces for even cooking. If using frozen veggies, thaw them first to prevent the soup from becoming watery.
  • Use flavorful broth: Choose a high-quality vegetable or chicken broth as the base of your soup. This will greatly enhance the flavor of the dish.
  • Add some protein: For a more filling soup, add some cooked chicken, beans, or lentils. This will make it a more complete meal.
  • Season to taste: Don't forget to season your soup with salt, pepper, and other herbs or spices to taste. A little bit of garlic powder, onion powder, or Italian seasoning can go a long way.
  • Garnish before serving: Before serving, garnish your soup with some fresh herbs like parsley, basil, or thyme. This will add a pop of color and freshness to the dish.
