Tips:

  • For crispy chicken fingers, use a combination of flour, cornstarch, and bread crumbs as the coating. The flour helps the coating adhere to the chicken, the cornstarch makes it crispy, and the bread crumbs add flavor and texture.
  • To make sure the chicken fingers are cooked evenly, use a meat thermometer to check that they have reached an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  • For extra crispy chicken fingers, double-coat them in the breading mixture. This will create a thicker, crispier coating.
  • If you don't have buttermilk, you can make your own by adding 1 tablespoon of lemon juice or vinegar to 1 cup of milk. Let it sit for 5 minutes before using.
  • To save time, you can use pre-made chicken tenders instead of cutting up your own chicken breasts.

Conclusion:

With these tips in mind, you're sure to make delicious and crispy chicken fingers that the whole family will love. Serve them with your favorite dipping sauce, such as honey mustard, barbecue sauce, or ranch dressing. Enjoy!
