Tips:

  • Use fresh coconut: Fresh coconut has a more intense flavor and aroma than dried coconut. If you can, use fresh coconut for the best results.
  • Toast the coconut: Toasting the coconut before adding it to the batter gives it a richer, nuttier flavor. You can toast the coconut in a skillet over medium heat until it is golden brown.
  • Use full-fat coconut milk: Full-fat coconut milk will give the coconut drops a creamier, more decadent texture. If you only have light coconut milk, you can add a little butter or oil to the batter.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing the batter will make the coconut drops tough. Mix the batter just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Let the coconut drops cool completely before serving: The coconut drops will be easier to handle and will hold their shape better if you let them cool completely before serving.

Conclusion:

Easy coconut drops are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for any occasion. They are made with simple ingredients that you probably already have on hand, and they can be ready in under an hour. So next time you are looking for a sweet and satisfying snack, give these easy coconut drops a try. You won't be disappointed!
