Quinoa is a tasty, protein-filled grain that makes a great addition to chicken soup! Add some carrots, celery, spinach, onions and bell peppers for amazing color and flavor. My husband loves this with multigrain crackers, but I think it's great as-is!

Tips:

  • Use high-quality chicken broth. This will make a big difference in the flavor of your soup. If you don't have time to make your own, look for a good quality store-bought broth.
  • Don't overcrowd the pot. If you add too much chicken or vegetables to the pot, they won't cook evenly. Cook the chicken and vegetables in batches if necessary.
  • Season the soup to taste. Taste the soup before serving and add more salt, pepper, or other seasonings as needed.
  • Serve with your favorite toppings. Some popular toppings for chicken quinoa soup include shredded cheese, sour cream, avocado, and tortilla chips.
