Tips:
- Use fresh lemons for the best flavor. If you don't have fresh lemons, you can use bottled lemon juice, but the flavor won't be as good.
- Don't overmix the filling. Overmixing will make the filling tough.
- Bake the pie until the filling is set. The filling should be slightly jiggly in the center.
- Let the pie cool completely before serving. This will give the filling time to set.
- Serve the pie with whipped cream or ice cream. This will add a delicious finishing touch.
Conclusion:
This easy lemon pie is a classic dessert that is perfect for any occasion. It's made with a simple filling of fresh lemons, sugar, eggs, and butter. The filling is poured into a pre-baked pie crust and baked until set. The pie is then chilled and served with whipped cream or ice cream. This pie is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
