EASIER STABILIZED WHIPPED CREAM
This is much easier than the usual unflavored gelatin method. As for the leftover pudding mix, I use it in smoothies, milk shakes, fruit salads, more whipped cream, etc. It never goes to waste! You can make your whipped topping ahead of time and it won't separate or go runny! I find the pudding adds an extra richness to the flavor without being enough to know that it's instant pudding. You could use any flavor of instant pudding to change up the usual whipped cream flavors.

STABILIZED WHIPPED CREAM ICING
This cream holds up longer on pies because it doesn't separate. Gelatin stiffens whipped cream and makes the texture seem fuller and slightly spongy. May be used to top a pie or frost a cake.

- Add gelatin mixture to cream, pouring in a steady stream while beating constantly. Beat until stiff peaks form. Use immediately.

Tips:
- Chill everything before starting. This includes the cream, the bowl, and the beaters. This will help the cream whip up faster and hold its shape better.
- Use heavy cream. Half-and-half or milk will not whip up as well and will not hold their shape as long.
- Whip the cream gradually. Start on low speed and gradually increase the speed as the cream starts to thicken. This will help prevent the cream from over-whipping.
- Do not over-whip the cream. Over-whipped cream will become grainy and lose its smooth texture.
- Add flavorings after the cream has been whipped. This will help prevent the flavorings from curdling the cream.
- Use stabilized whipped cream immediately or within a few hours. Stabilized whipped cream will not hold its shape as long as regular whipped cream.
Conclusion:
With these tips in mind, you can easily make delicious and beautiful stabilized whipped cream at home. Stabilized whipped cream is perfect for topping desserts, filling cakes and pies, and making mousses and other light and airy desserts. It is also a great way to use up leftover cream. So next time you have a craving for something sweet and creamy, try making stabilized whipped cream. You won't be disappointed!
