Tips:

  • Use fresh fruit: Fresh fruit will give your dump cake the best flavor. If you're using frozen fruit, be sure to thaw it completely before adding it to the cake batter.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing the batter will make the cake tough. Stir just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Bake the cake until the top is golden brown: The cake is done baking when the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Serve the cake warm or cold: Dump cake can be served warm or cold. If you're serving it warm, top it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. If you're serving it cold, let it cool completely before slicing and serving.

Conclusion:

Dump cake is an easy and delicious dessert that can be made with a variety of fruits. It's a great way to use up leftover fruit or to enjoy a sweet treat without a lot of effort. Whether you serve it warm or cold, dump cake is sure to be a hit with your family and friends.
