Number Of Ingredients 9

1/2 pound cooked ham, cut into 1-inch pieces
1/2 medium onion, quartered
3 large sweet gherkins
1/2 cup pecans,toasted and cooled
2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
1/4 cup mayonnaise
16 slices firm white sandwich bread
Garnish: chopped parsley and pecans

Steps:

  • Pulse all ingredients except bread in a food processor until finely chopped and combined well.
  • Spread ham mixture (1/4 cup per sandwich) between slices of bread. Discard crusts, then cut sandwiches into triangles.

1/2 cup black forest ham, finely diced
1/4 cup fresh red bell pepper, finely diced
1 tablespoon scallion, finely diced
2 teaspoons sweet pickles, minced
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
1 teaspoon honey mustard
6 slices bread (we like pumpkernickel)

Steps:

  • Place the ham, pepper, scallion and pickle in a small bowl and toss to combine. Add the mayonnaise and mustard and mix well. Spread the ham mixture on the bread, it will be kind of thinly spread. Cut the sandwiches into quarters. Enjoy!
