DEVILED HAM DIP
This is a recipe my mom made as far back as I can remember. I have since taken over the family get-togethers over the past 25+ years, and this is a "must" at everyone of them (because my 91 yr old mom still says so). Personally, I will say this dip "must" be served with "Bugles" corn chips made by General Mills (that's all I've ever known and liked with this). I know some people may not be able to find them, so choose your favorite. I hope you like this super simple recipe. (Cook time reflects refrigeration time). Enjoy.

Steps:
- Mix everything in a bowl (except chips). Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to soften onion and allow flavors to blend. May be made a day ahead for ease of serving at a party.
- Serve with your favorite dippers. Enjoy!
Tips:
- Use high-quality ingredients for the best flavor. Opt for fresh vegetables, herbs, and spices, and choose a good quality cream cheese and sour cream.
- Don't overmix the dip, or it will become too thick and lose its creamy texture.
- Chill the dip for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
- Serve the dip with a variety of crudités, such as carrot sticks, celery sticks, cucumber slices, and bell pepper strips.
- For a spicier dip, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or chili powder.
- For a tangier dip, add a squeeze of lemon juice or a dollop of sour cream.
- For a sweeter dip, add a teaspoon of honey or maple syrup.
- For a more savory dip, add a pinch of garlic powder or onion powder.
- If you are making the dip ahead of time, store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Conclusion:
Deviled cottage dip is a delicious and versatile appetizer that is perfect for any occasion. It is easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste preferences. With its creamy texture and tangy flavor, this dip is sure to be a hit with your guests. So next time you are looking for a quick and easy appetizer, give deviled cottage dip a try.
