CURRIED QUICHE

This is a very tasty quiche that I put together for a tea-time spread. We had samosas, Indian sweets, and this- it was a huge hit- and very simple. A great last minute addition to any menu.

Tips:

  • Use fresh ingredients: The fresher the ingredients, the better the quiche will taste. This is especially true for the vegetables and herbs.
  • Don't overcook the vegetables: The vegetables should be cooked until they are tender, but still have a little bit of crunch.
  • Use a good quality cheese: The cheese is one of the main ingredients in a quiche, so it's important to use a good quality cheese that melts well.
  • Don't overmix the filling: Overmixing the filling will make the quiche tough.
  • Blind-bake the crust: Blind-baking the crust will help to prevent it from becoming soggy.
  • Let the quiche cool before serving: This will help the quiche to set and make it easier to slice.

Conclusion:

Curried quiche is a delicious and versatile dish that can be served for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It's also a great way to use up leftover vegetables. With a little planning and effort, you can make a curried quiche that will impress your family and friends.
