Easy, yummy pork chops. I get these marinating in the fridge in the morning and they're all set to throw on the grill when I get home from work. Prep and cook time does not include marinating time (from 10 minutes to 6 hours)

These chops are Tender... with a capital "T"! The delectable marinade offers up so much flavor that I can't wait to try it on other meats as well. (I think it will be great on chicken!)

Time 10m

Number Of Ingredients 8

6 center cut, boneless pork chops
1/2 c vegetable oil
1/4 c soy sauce
1/4 c Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp minced garlic
1 tsp cumin
2 Tbsp brown sugar
salt and pepper, to taste

Steps:

  • 1. Place the pork chops in a casserole dish laying flat.
  • 2. Next mix together the remaining ingredients in a bowl.
  • 3. Puncture the pork chops with a fork all over. Pour the marinade on top of the chops, then refrigerate 4-6 hours - flipping them over once while marinating. Remove from the fridge the last hour before grilling.
  • 4. Grill on med-low for about 5 min on each side, or until cooked through. *I always spoon on the marinade too while they are cooking* Discard marinade when finished cooking.

Tips:

  • Use thick-cut pork chops: This will ensure that the chops stay juicy and flavorful during grilling.
  • Marinate the pork chops for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight: This will help the chops absorb the flavors of the marinade and make them more tender.
  • Cook the pork chops over medium-high heat: This will help to sear the outside of the chops and prevent them from drying out.
  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure that the pork chops are cooked to the desired doneness: The internal temperature of the chops should be 145 degrees Fahrenheit for medium-rare, 155 degrees Fahrenheit for medium, and 165 degrees Fahrenheit for well-done.
  • Let the pork chops rest for a few minutes before serving: This will allow the juices to redistribute throughout the chops, resulting in a more tender and flavorful bite.

Conclusion:

Cumin-grilled pork chops are a delicious and easy-to-make meal that is perfect for a weeknight dinner or a special occasion. The marinade infuses the pork chops with a savory and smoky flavor, while the grilling process creates a perfectly cooked chop that is juicy and tender on the inside and slightly charred on the outside. Serve the pork chops with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a simple salad, for a complete and satisfying meal.
