1 egg
2 tablespoons water
1/2 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
3 tablespoons olive oil
4 (4 ounce) beef cube steaks or 4 (4 ounce) venison steak
2 cups marinara sauce, jarred or homemade
4 ounces mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 large egg, room temperature
1 tablespoon water
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/3 cup finely crushed saltines (about 10)
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
6 beef cube steaks (about 4 ounces each)
2 tablespoons canola oil
SAUCE:
1 can (15 ounces) tomato sauce
1 tablespoon sugar
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, divided
3 slices mozzarella cheese, halved
1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
