Number Of Ingredients 10
Steps:
- In a large 4-quart slow cooker sprayed with cooking spray, mix the macaroni, evaporated milk, milk, butter, salt, pepper, eggs and all but 1/2 cup of the grated cheese. Sprinkle the reserved cheese over the top of the mixture and then sprinkle with paprika. Cover and cook on low heat for 3 hours and 15 minutes. Turn off the slow cooker, stir the mixture and serve hot.
Tips:
- Use a variety of cheeses: This will give your dip a more complex flavor. Cheddar, Monterey Jack, and pepper jack are all good options.
- Don't overcook the meat: Ground beef or sausage should be cooked until just browned. Overcooking will make it tough and dry.
- Add some vegetables: Diced bell peppers, onions, or jalapeños can add flavor, texture, and color to your dip.
- Serve with your favorite dippers: Tortilla chips, crackers, or bread cubes are all great options.
- Make it ahead of time: This dip can be made up to 2 days in advance. Just store it in the refrigerator until you're ready to serve.
Conclusion:
Crock-Pot Meaty Cheese Dip is a delicious and easy appetizer that is perfect for any occasion. It's simple to make, and it can be tailored to your own taste preferences. So next time you're looking for a crowd-pleasing snack, give this recipe a try!
