CROCK POT LONDON BROIL

Your whole crew is going to love this delicious roast. It's an easy to make, economical meal. We loved the extra tang and kick pepperoncini peppers give the gravy (they're a sweet, mild chili pepper). You can even add a bit of their juice to the Crock Pot for even more flavor. This is a hearty set it and forget it slow cooker...

Time 8h15m

Number Of Ingredients 6

1 can beef consomme
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can beefy mushroom
1 london broil (anysize)
salt and pepper
garlic powder

Steps:

  • 1. Put a crock pot back in your crock pot, rinse your meat and place it in the crock pot.
  • 2. Mix all your soups together and add your salt pepper and garlic and pour over your meat.
  • 3. Cook on low for approx 6-8 hrs. Or high for about 4-6 Depends on how fast or slow your pot cooks.
  • 4. Serve it with rice or mashed potatoes and its the best gravy and meat you have ever had.

Tips:

  • Use a good quality cut of meat: London broil is a relatively inexpensive cut of beef, but it can be tough if not cooked properly. Look for a piece of meat that is well-marbled and has a deep red color.
  • Marinate the meat: Marinating the meat helps to tenderize it and add flavor. You can use a variety of marinades, but a simple mixture of olive oil, garlic, rosemary, and thyme is a good place to start.
  • Cook the meat on low heat: London broil is best cooked on low heat for a long period of time. This helps to break down the connective tissue in the meat and make it tender.
  • Let the meat rest before slicing: Once the meat is cooked, let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, making it more flavorful.

Conclusion:

Crock-Pot London broil is an easy and delicious way to cook this affordable cut of beef. By following these tips, you can ensure that your London broil is tender, flavorful, and juicy. Serve it with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a simple salad.
