This recipe was given to me by a coworker. It is a wonderful meal. I hope you enjoy it as much as we have. Its also cooked in a crockpot so how easy can it get.

1 1/2 lb pork steak, cut in strips
1 large onion, chopped
1 large ,green bell pepper, chopped
8 oz can tomato sauce
3 Tbsp brown sugar
1 1/2 Tbsp vinegar
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp worcestershire sauce
1 can(s) mushroom soup

Steps:

  • 1. Brown pork strips in oil and place in crockpot. For a shortcut just place in crockpot.
  • 2. Add all remaining ingredients in crockpot. cook on high for four hours or 6-8 hours on low. Serve over hot rice

2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 onion, thinly sliced
1 (4 1/2 ounce) can mushrooms, drained
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons distilled white vinegar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt

Steps:

  • In a large heavy skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat.
  • Brown pork in oil.
  • Drain off excess fat.
  • Place pork, onion, mushrooms, tomato sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, salt and Worcestershire sauce in a slow cooker.
  • Cook on High for 4 hours, or on Low for 6 to 8 hours.
