Tips:

  • Use fresh shrimp: Fresh shrimp will give you the best results. If you're using frozen shrimp, thaw them completely before using.
  • Clean the shrimp properly: Remove the heads, shells, and tails from the shrimp. Devein the shrimp by making a shallow cut along the back of the shrimp and removing the vein.
  • Use a light breading: A light breading will help the shrimp stay crispy. You can use a mixture of flour, cornstarch, and seasonings.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan: When frying the shrimp, don't overcrowd the pan. This will prevent the shrimp from cooking evenly.
  • Cook the shrimp until they're golden brown: Cook the shrimp until they're golden brown and crispy. This will take about 2-3 minutes per side.
  • Serve the shrimp with a dipping sauce: Serve the shrimp with a dipping sauce of your choice. A spicy dipping sauce is a great option.
