1 pound pork sausage
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 4 ounce can diced green chiles, drained (optional)
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 8 ounce package cream cheese
2 8 ounce packages original crescent rolls
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Steps:

  • Fry sausage, onion, green chiles, salt, pepper and garlic powder in a skillet on top of the stove. Drain if needed.
  • Add cream cheese and cook until melted. Spread one can of the crescent rolls in the bottom of a 9 x 13 baking dish sprayed with cooking spray and crimping openings in dough together to make a flat bottom. Add sausage and creamed mixture on top. Sprinkle on shredded cheddar cheese. Spread the other can of crescent rolls on top crimping edges together.
  • Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 20 minutes or until top is nicely browned. Slice into pieces with a knife or use a pizza cutter to slice. I made about 20 pieces but I sliced some larger than others

2 (8-oz.) can(s) crescent rolls
2 (8-oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened
1 lb. pkg. bulk hot sausage
1 lb. pkg. bulk mild sausage
1 (8-oz.) bag shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat a 9 X 12 baking dish with cooking spray.
  • 2. Cook sausage until done and drain off grease. (Both rolls may be cooked together). Mix cooked, warm sausage and cream cheese together.

1 pound bulk pork sausage
½ cup chopped red bell pepper
¼ cup chopped onion
¼ cup chopped green onions

1 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
6 large eggs
¾ cup low-fat milk

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a 9x13-inch baking pan with nonstick spray. Line the bottom of the pan with crescent roll dough, pinching the perforated seams together.

8 oz can crescent roll dough
2 pkg 8 oz. swift brown n serve sausages, thawed and sliced (original recipe calls for 1 8 oz pkg.)
2 c shredded cheese (monterey jack or swiss)....use swiss
4 eggs, slightly beaten
1/4 c milk
1/4 c green pepper (nope....i used green chile)
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp oregano (don't leave this out...it makes a difference)

Steps:

  • 1. Preheat oven to 425F. Separate the dough into 2 large rectangles. Put in an ungreased 9 x 13 pan. Press the bottoms and up over the sides to make a crust. Seal the perforations.
  • 2. Toss in the sliced sausages, sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  • 3. Beat the eggs and stir in the milk, chile, salt, pepper and oregano. Pour over the top of the sausage/cheese. Bake 25 minutes or until golden brown.
