Steps:
- Cook pasta in salted water according to directions listed on package (keep in mind it will only take about 4 minutes so I recommend adding the pasta to water when you begin cooking the shrimp), reserve 1/2 cup pasta water before draining.
- In a large skillet, heat olive and butter over medium-high heat. Add shrimp (you can remove tails first if desired), season with salt and pepper and saute 2 minutes, then add garlic and saute until shrimp has cooked through, about 2 minutes longer.
- Toss drained pasta in with shrimp along with 1/3 cup reserved pasta water, lemon zest and lemon juice. Add more water 1 Tbsp at a time as needed. Toss in 2 Tbsp of each parsley and basil, then sprinkle top with parmesan cheese and remaining 1 Tbsp of each parsley and basil. Serve warm.

CREAMY SEAFOOD WITH ANGEL HAIR PASTA
Since I live off the coast of North Carolina I am always looking for seafood recipes. This is not only great it is VERY easy to prepare. The original recipe came from one of my favorite cookbooks, "Cook Healthy, Cook Quick". It called for lobster but I have substituted all types of seafood, (whatever I can find fresh!) and they all taste wonderful!! Serve with a salad and bread for a great light summer time meal!!

SAVORY SEA SCALLOPS AND ANGEL HAIR PASTA
Steps:
- Fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring to a rolling boil over high heat. Once the water is boiling, stir in the angel hair pasta, and return to a boil. Cook the pasta uncovered, stirring occasionally, until the pasta has cooked through, but is still firm to the bite, 4 to 5 minutes. Drain well in a colander set in the sink.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Stir in the garlic and cook just until fragrant and softened, about 1 minute. Slice any scallops over 3/4-inch thick in half so they'll cook evenly; stir scallops, basil, and parsley into the skillet. Cook and gently stir just until scallops feel slightly firm when pressed with a finger, 2 to 3 minutes. Scallops will become tough and chewy if overcooked. Stir in lemon juice, and season with salt and black pepper. Pour in cream if you like a thicker sauce. Bring the mixture just to a bare simmer.
- Serve over hot angel hair pasta; sprinkle to taste with Parmesan cheese.

Tips and Conclusion
- Fresh Seafood: Use fresh and high-quality seafood for the best flavor and texture. Look for vibrant colors and firm flesh.
- Proper Cooking: Cook seafood at the right temperature and for the correct amount of time to prevent overcooking. Overcooked seafood becomes rubbery and loses its delicate flavor.
- Creamy Sauce: Make sure the creamy sauce is smooth and flavorful. Use a combination of butter, flour, milk or cream, and seasonings like salt, pepper, garlic, and herbs to create a rich and velvety sauce.
- Quality Angel Hair Pasta: Choose high-quality angel hair pasta for the best texture and flavor. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions and drain well before adding it to the sauce.
- Garnish and Serving: Garnish the creamy seafood pasta with fresh herbs such as basil, parsley, or chives. Serve immediately while the pasta is hot and the sauce is creamy.
In conclusion, the creamy seafood with angel hair pasta is a delightful dish that combines the delicate flavor of seafood, the richness of a creamy sauce, and the lightness of angel hair pasta. With careful attention to the freshness of the ingredients and proper cooking techniques, you can create a restaurant-quality meal at home. Experiment with different types of seafood and seasonings to create your unique variations of this classic recipe. Enjoy the deliciousness of creamy seafood pasta and share it with your loved ones!
