Tips:
- Mise en place: Before you start cooking, make sure you have all of your ingredients and equipment ready. This will help you stay organized and avoid scrambling.
- Use fresh ingredients: Fresh ingredients will give your creamed chicken in pastry shells the best flavor. If possible, use organic or locally sourced ingredients.
- Cook the chicken thoroughly: Chicken should be cooked to an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit (74 degrees Celsius) to ensure that it is safe to eat.
- Make sure the sauce is thick enough: The sauce should be thick enough to coat the chicken and vegetables without being too runny. If the sauce is too thin, add a little bit of cornstarch or flour to thicken it.
- Don't overcook the pastry shells: Pastry shells should be baked until they are golden brown and flaky. Overcooking them will make them tough and dry.
