3 cups chicken broth
2 cups milk, or more, as needed

Tips:

  • Choose the right potatoes: Yukon Gold or Russet potatoes are best for this soup, as they're both creamy and flavorful. Avoid waxy potatoes like Red Potatoes, as they won't break down as well in the soup.
  • Don't skimp on the vegetables: The vegetables in this soup add flavor and texture. Don't be afraid to add more or less of your favorites, depending on your taste.
  • Use a good quality cream of chicken soup: The cream of chicken soup is the base of this soup, so it's important to use a good quality one. Look for a soup that is made with real chicken and cream, and avoid soups that are made with artificial ingredients.
  • Season to taste: Every palate is different, so be sure to season the soup to your liking. Salt, pepper, and garlic powder are all good starting points, but you can also add other spices like paprika, cumin, or chili powder.
  • Serve with your favorite toppings: This soup is delicious on its own, but it's even better with your favorite toppings. Try adding a dollop of sour cream, a sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese, or a few crumbled bacon bits.
