1 cup white sugar
4 cranberry-flavored tea bags
4 slices fresh lemon
6 whole cloves
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
¼ teaspoon ground ginger
1 ½ cups water
2 (750 milliliter) bottles white wine
4 apples, cored and cut into chunks
1 ½ cups dried cranberries
2 fluid ounces apple brandy

Steps:

  • Place the sugar, tea bags, lemon slices, cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and water into a saucepan, and stir until the sugar has dissolved. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let mixture cool. Strain out and discard the spices, lemon, and tea bags.

1/2 cup whiskey

2 pints cranberry juice (100% juice is best)
2 pints orange juice
1 (750 ml) bottle red wine (I like Beaujolais, but any light fruity red wine will do.)
1 -2 orange, sliced (for garnish)

  • Chill all ingredients.
  • Pour juices and wine into punch bowl.
  • Float orange slices on top.
  • Variations: You may adjust the proportions of juice to wine, depending on the strength and flavor profile of your particular wine.
  • This is also good with limes and lemons.

2 cinnamon sticks (about 3 inches long)

1 pinch nutmeg
2 oranges, cut in wedges
1 lemon, cut in wedges
1 cup cranberries

Steps:

  • Heat all ingredients in a saucepan on medium low heat, stirring occasionally, until sugar is dissolved.
  • When liquid is hot but not boiling, remove from heat.

1 cup orange liqueur, such as Grand Marnier
2 clementines or small oranges, thinly sliced
One 3-inch piece fresh ginger, peeled and cut lengthwise into 1/4-inch-thick slices

Steps:

  • Bring the allspice, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon and 2 cups water to a boil in a small saucepan. Remove the saucepan from the heat, add the tea bags and let steep for 5 minutes. Discard the tea bags, then return the mixture to a boil. Stir in the maple syrup and cranberries, and cook for 2 minutes. Let cool, then transfer the mixture to a 3-quart pitcher.
  • Add the wine and liqueur to the pitcher, and stir to combine. Add the clementines and ginger, and cover the pitcher with plastic wrap. Refrigerate the sangria for at least 4 hours and up to overnight.

1 cup orange, chunks

Steps:

  • Combine the water, sugar, cloves, and lemon and lime slices together in a saucepan and set over medium heat. Mix well, and allow to simmer for a couple of minutes. Reduce the heat to low, and simmer for a further 2 to 3 minutes.

8 whole cloves
1 bottle sweet white wine, such as moscato or reisling
3 c cranberry juice
1 c fresh cranberries
1/4 c orange flavored liquor

1 Tbsp pure vanilla extract

  • 1. Cut orange into 8 wedges. Press 1 clove into each wedge. Set aside.
