1 bottle (12 ounces) chili sauce
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 package (32 ounces) frozen fully cooked homestyle meatballs, thawed

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine the first six ingredients; stir until sugar is dissolved. Add meatballs; cook until heated through, 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally. , Editor's Note: To prepare in a slow cooker, heat sauce ingredients as directed. 16 ounces cranberry sauce, whole-berry
3/4 cup chili sauce
1/4 cup water
2 lbs frozen meatballs, completely thawed

Steps:

  • Put cranberry sauce, chili sauce and water in slow-cooker and stir to combine.
  • Add meatballs and stir to coat them with the sauce.
  • Cover and cook on low 3-4 hours, until bubbly and meatballs are heated through.
  • Stir; serve warm from the cooker.

  • I place premade [frozen] meatballs in 9x13 baking dish and cook according to directions. Meanwhile I prepare minute rice according to stove top directions & let sit. Then in another pan I mix the ingredients for the sauce in a pan and cook until like sauce consistancy & let sit. Then when the meatballs are done pour the sauce over the top of them and cook for another 5 minutes. Serve over rice.
