Tips:
- Mise en Place: Before you start baking, make sure you have all the ingredients and equipment you need. This will help you stay organized and avoid any mishaps during the baking process.
- Fresh Ingredients: Use the freshest ingredients possible for the best flavor and texture. Fresh cranberries, butter, and eggs will make a big difference in the final result.
- Properly Grease and Flour the Baking Pan: This will prevent the cake from sticking and ensure that it comes out of the pan easily.
- Cream the Butter and Sugar Together Until Light and Fluffy: This will help to incorporate air into the batter, resulting in a lighter and more tender cake.
- Gradually Add the Eggs: Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. This will help to prevent the batter from curdling.
- Do Not Overmix the Batter: Overmixing will develop the gluten in the flour, resulting in a tough and dense cake. Mix just until the ingredients are well combined.
- Bake the Cake in a Preheated Oven: This will help to ensure that the cake rises evenly and bakes through properly.
- Let the Cake Cool Completely Before Frosting: This will help to prevent the frosting from melting and running off the cake.

With its moist and flavorful cake layers, tangy cranberry filling, and rich hot butter sauce, this cake is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it.
