COUNTRY "SAUSAGE" PATTIES
I got this recipe from a vegetarian cooking show. Although, it is a vegetarian recipe, it does have that "sausage" flavor to it. We eat it on biscuits in the morning. At dinner time we put a mushroom gravy over it and serve it with mashed potatoes, a vegetable and salad. I think it is a good recipe and my family (who also eat meat) enjoyed it. Makes 10 smaller patties but you can make them bigger. Cooking time does not reflect time for baking if you make them that way - only for time to fry-cook them.

Tips:
- Choose high-quality sausage: The quality of the sausage you use will greatly impact the final dish. Look for a sausage that is made with fresh, high-quality meat and has a good flavor.
- Use a variety of spices: Don't be afraid to experiment with different spices to create a unique flavor profile for your sausage patties. Some popular spices to use include garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cayenne pepper.
- Cook the sausage patties over medium heat: This will help to prevent them from drying out and becoming tough.
- Don't overcook the sausage patties: Overcooked sausage patties will be dry and tough. Cook them until they are just cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Serve the sausage patties immediately: Sausage patties are best served hot and fresh. They can be served with a variety of sides, such as mashed potatoes, gravy, eggs, or pancakes.
Conclusion:
Country-style sausage patties are a delicious and versatile dish that can be enjoyed for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. They are easy to make and can be tailored to your own taste preferences. With a little bit of experimentation, you can create your own perfect sausage patty recipe.
