CORNFLAKE SWEET & SOUR MEATLOAF
I got this from a co-worker a couple of years ago. THIS IS THE ONLY MEATLOAF MY HUSBAND WILL EAT!! It's the only one I make now- it really is THAT good. I think the nutmeg plays a big part in the taste...a little secret ingredient. Sometimes I double the sauce part, or else I half the meat mixture and keep the sauce part the same.

Tips:
- Use fresh ingredients: Always start with fresh, high-quality ingredients for the best flavor and texture.
- Don't overmix the meatloaf: Overmixing can make the meatloaf tough. Mix the ingredients just until they are combined.
- Use a loaf pan that is the right size: The meatloaf should fill the pan without overflowing. If the pan is too big, the meatloaf will be too thin and may not cook evenly.
- Cook the meatloaf at a moderate temperature: 350 degrees Fahrenheit is the ideal temperature for cooking meatloaf. This will help to prevent it from drying out.
- Let the meatloaf rest before slicing: After the meatloaf is cooked, let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing. This will help to keep the juices in the meatloaf and make it easier to slice.
Conclusion:
Cornflake meatloaf is a classic American comfort food that is easy to make and always a hit with the family. With its simple ingredients and versatile flavor, it's a dish that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. Whether you're looking for a hearty weeknight meal or a special occasion dish, cornflake meatloaf is a great option that is sure to please everyone at the table.
