Tips:

  • For a more intense lime flavor, use key limes instead of regular limes.
  • If you don't have a food processor, you can grate the lime zest and juice the limes by hand.
  • Make sure the cream cheese and butter are at room temperature before you start making the filling. This will help them mix together smoothly.
  • Don't overbeat the filling. Overbeating can cause it to become curdled.
  • Chill the filling for at least 4 hours before serving. This will help it to set and firm up.
  • Serve the dessert with whipped cream, fresh berries, or lime zest for garnish.

Conclusion:

This cool and creamy key lime dessert is the perfect way to beat the heat on a hot summer day. It's also a great make-ahead dessert, so you can have it ready to serve when you need it. With its tangy lime flavor and creamy texture, this dessert is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it.
