CITRUS SWEET LEMONADE
This is my dad's favorite juice to make. My dad's lemon tree has been around since before I can remember and he used to always buy oranges in order to make this drink almost every night. I don't know why I waited until now to finally ask him for the recipe. But here it is! Sometimes my dad mixes it up by adding some lime juice. Update: Just a note to myself for future experiments. There is a restaurant here called Tucano's that makes Brazilian Lemonade (lime lemonade). I learned a while ago from a former waitress that the secret ingredient is sweetened condensed milk. So in the future I'll try adding some. (They also offer flavors like Raspberry, Guava, Mango, Pineapple and Strawberry Brazilian Lemonade, so you might want to try other flavors in place of the orange.)

Tips:
- Fresh is Best: For the best flavor, use freshly squeezed lemons. If you don't have fresh lemons, you can use store-bought lemon juice, but be sure to choose a high-quality brand.
- Choose the Right Sweetener: This recipe calls for sugar, but you can use any sweetener you like. Honey, agave nectar, or maple syrup are all good options.
- Adjust the Sweetness: If you like your lemonade sweeter, add more sweetener to taste. You can also add a pinch of salt to balance out the sweetness.
- Chill Before Serving: For the best flavor, chill your lemonade before serving. You can store it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Garnish with Lemon Slices: When serving, garnish your lemonade with lemon slices or wedges. This adds a pop of color and flavor.
Conclusion:
Citrus Sweet Lemonade is a refreshing and flavorful drink that's perfect for any occasion. It's easy to make and only requires a few simple ingredients. Follow these tips to make the best lemonade possible. Enjoy!
