Tips:

  • Choose Fresh Mahi-Mahi: Select firm, bright-colored mahi-mahi fillets with no signs of discoloration or odor.
  • Marinate the Fish: Marinating the mahi-mahi in a mixture of citrus juices, herbs, and spices enhances its flavor and tenderness.
  • Grill or Pan-Sear the Fish: For a smoky flavor, grill the mahi-mahi fillets over medium heat until they are cooked through. Alternatively, pan-sear them in a skillet with olive oil or butter.
  • Use Fresh Citrus: Use freshly squeezed orange, lime, and lemon juices for the best flavor in the tacos.
  • Make Your Own Taco Shells: Homemade taco shells are simple to make and taste much better than store-bought ones.
  • Load Up on Toppings: Experiment with various toppings like avocado, salsa, pico de gallo, shredded cabbage, and sour cream to create flavorful tacos.
