Tips:

  • Ensure proper chilling time: For successful results, ensure your ice cream maker bowl is adequately chilled for at least 24 hours before churning.
  • Use chilled ingredients: Using chilled ingredients, including the heavy cream, milk, sugar, and flavorings, will help the ice cream churn faster and smoother.
  • Flavor extraction: To infuse intense cinnamon flavor, consider toasting the cinnamon sticks in a dry skillet for a few minutes before adding them to the heavy cream mixture.
  • Adjust sugar level: If the cinnamon cereal you're using is already sweetened, you may want to reduce the amount of sugar in the ice cream base to suit your taste.
  • Use a variety of cereals: Experiment with different cinnamon cereals, such as Cinnamon Toast Crunch, French Toast Crunch, or even a combination of cereals, for a unique flavor and texture.
  • Storage: Store the ice cream in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 weeks. To maintain its creamy texture, it's best to let it soften slightly before scooping.
