Tips:

  • Use fresh, ripe apples for the best flavor. Granny Smith, Honeycrisp, and Braeburn are all good choices.
  • Be sure to peel and core the apples before chopping them. This will help them cook evenly and prevent the muffins from being too chunky.
  • Don't overmix the batter. Overmixing can make the muffins tough.
  • Fill the muffin cups only about 2/3 full. This will give the muffins room to rise.
  • Bake the muffins until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. This usually takes about 20-25 minutes.
  • Let the muffins cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. This will help them hold their shape.
  • Serve the muffins warm or at room temperature. They can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.

Conclusion:

These cinnamon apple muffins are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that are perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a snack. They are also a great way to use up any leftover apples you have on hand. With their moist, tender crumb and sweet, cinnamony flavor, these muffins are sure to be a hit with everyone who tries them.
