2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
2-1/4 cups finely chopped pecans
1-1/3 cups sugar

  • In a large bowl, cream butter and cream cheese until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Combine flour and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture and mix well. Divide into three portions. Steps:

  • Line 8-inch square pan with foil, leaving foil overhanging at 2 opposite sides of pan; spray foil with cooking spray.
  • In large microwavable bowl, microwave white chips uncovered on High 1 minute. Spoon frosting over chips. Microwave on High 30 seconds; stir. If necessary, continue to microwave in 15-second increments until mixture can be stirred smooth.

1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
1 tablespoon grated orange zest
3 tablespoons brown sugar
2 teaspoons milk

Steps:

  • Combine butter, sugar, egg and vanilla. Beat until light and fluffy, scraping the bowl occasionally.
