Time 1h25m

Number Of Ingredients 9

1 c light brown sugar
3/4 c light brown sugar
6 Tbsp sugar
2 stick softened butter
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla
3 c flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 bag(s) christmas colored candy m and m's

Steps:

  • 1. In lg bowl, beat together brown sugar, sugar and butter until mostly creamy. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  • 2. Beat in flour and baking soda. Cover bowl and refrigerate 1/2 hour. Heat oven to 375. Take out bowl from refrigerator and stir in candies.
  • 3. Cover cookie sheets w/ parchment paper. Drop cookie mix by teaspoons onto cookie sheets about an inch apart. Bake about 10 mins, or until light golden brown.

Tips:

  • Chill the dough before baking: This helps prevent the cookies from spreading too much and keeps them chewy.
  • Use high-quality ingredients: The better the ingredients, the better the cookies will taste. Look for real butter, sugar, flour, and eggs.
  • Don't overmix the dough: Overmixing can make the cookies tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
  • Bake the cookies until they are just set: Overbaking will make them dry and crumbly. The cookies should be slightly soft in the center when you take them out of the oven.
  • Let the cookies cool completely before decorating: This helps prevent the decorations from melting or sliding off.

Conclusion:

These Christmas candy cookies are a delicious and festive treat that are perfect for any holiday gathering. They are easy to make and can be customized with your favorite candies and sprinkles. So get creative and have fun!
