Whenever I'm asked to bring a dessert to an outing, or if I want to send a treat to a neighbor or friend, I always prepare these wonderful brownies.

Steps:
- Cut the butter into small pieces. Put in a 20 x 20cm microwavable glass or ceramic dish and cook in 20-second bursts in the microwave until melted. Remove, swirl it around the dish to coat the sides, then tip it into a mixing bowl.
- Add the sugar to the bowl and, using a hand or electric whisk, whisk vigorously until the mixture is creamy and fully incorporated into the melted butter.
- In a jug, stir the vanilla extract into the milk along with the beaten eggs. Whisk this, a little at a time, into the sugar and butter mixture, ensuring it's thoroughly incorporated before adding more.
- Sift the flour and cocoa powder together, then fold gently into the cake batter. Finally, stir in the milk chocolate chips.
- Tip the whole mix into the buttered dish and smooth using a spatula to fill the dish. Cook for 5 mins or until the brownies are well-risen and slightly firm to touch. Don't worry if they're still a bit soft in the centre; they will continue to cook for several minutes once out of the microwave.
- Put the hot dish onto a cooling rack and leave for at least 20 mins to firm up. Cut into 8 squares. Will keep in an airtight container for three days.

Steps:
- For the Brownies:.
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add eggs and chocolate syrup. Mix until well blended.
- Add flour and mix well.
- Add nuts.
- Bake in a 9 x 13-inch cake pan for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
- For the Frosting:
- Boil sugar, margarine, and milk for 1 minute.
- Remove from heat and add l/2 cup chocolate chips.
- Stir until thick, then quickly spread over brownies (when brownies are cool). This frosting thickens quickly.
Tips:
- Use high-quality ingredients: The better the ingredients, the better the brownies will taste. Use real butter, pure cocoa powder, and semisweet or bittersweet chocolate chips.
- Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing can result in tough, dense brownies. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
- Don't overcook the brownies: Overcooked brownies will be dry and crumbly. Cook them just until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with just a few moist crumbs attached.
- Let the brownies cool completely before cutting them: This will help them to set and prevent them from falling apart.
- Store the brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

These chocolate syrup brownies are a quick and easy treat that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. They are perfect for a special occasion or a simple snack.
