- Use Fresh Ingredients: The fresher your ingredients, the better your oatmeal bars will taste. If possible, use organic oats, ripe bananas, and high-quality chocolate chips.
- Don't Overmix the Batter: Overmixing the batter can make your oatmeal bars tough. Mix just until the ingredients are combined.
- Let the Bars Cool Completely: Before you cut and serve the oatmeal bars, let them cool completely. This will help them hold their shape and prevent them from crumbling.
- Store Properly: Oatmeal bars can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. You can also freeze them for up to 2 months.
