Steps:
- Put cold coffee, coffee ice cubes, hot chocolate mix, and milk into your blender.
- Use low to medium speed, or whatever speed is recommended for crushing ice, to blend until the coffee ice cubes are thoroughly crushed.
- Pour into serving cups.
- For an attractive presentation top with a dollop of whipped cream and lightly dust with cocoa powder, shaved chocolate, or ground coffee.
- Adding a shot of Kahlua to each serving makes a nice drink for the adults on a warm evening.
- Note -- I often have enough coffee left in the pot to make a tray of cubes but in the summer I'll make an extra pot of decaf the night before to use for this and for iced coffee.
- Using sugar-free hot chocolate mix and low-fat milk cuts calories if desired.

ICED COFFEE SLUSH
We have a tradition of hosting a game night during the holidays with nine other couples. Our guests come for the camaraderie, but they sure love washing down delicious buffet items with this sweet slush. Even non-coffee drinkers enjoy it.-Iola Egle, Bella Vista, Arkansas

COFFEE SLUSHIE, LOW SUGAR - FAT FREE
This is lovely but some may find that it needs a bit more coffee flavor. I use a rounded tbsp of the coffee when I make it. I'm partial to hazelnut flavor coffee and I like to add a pinch of cinnamon as well. This amount will make 2 smaller drinks or one tall glass serving.

CHOCOLATE SLUSH
My favourite sinless treat, Cook time includes slow boil, cool down of mixture and freezer time. You can change the taste by using any extract you prefer ( almond, peppermint, orange etc - adjust these extracts to your taste ). You can also partially freeze and eat it semi frozen with chocolately liquid.

- Place frozen mixture in a blender, blend to a slush.
- Freeze any leftover portion.
- Note: I use my coffee grinder to get a finer grind of the sugar, not powdered, just a fine grind.

- For a richer flavor, use cold brew coffee or espresso instead of regular coffee. - If you don't have a blender, you can make these slushies by hand using a whisk or immersion blender. - Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt to make the slushies even creamier. - Top with whipped cream, chocolate syrup, or chopped nuts for a special treat. - For a healthier version, use low-fat or non-fat milk or yogurt. - You can also add other flavors to these slushies, such as mint extract, almond extract, or cinnamon. - Experiment with different coffee beans and flavors to find your favorite combination. Conclusion:
Chocolate coffee slushies are a delicious and refreshing treat that can be enjoyed all year round. They're easy to make and can be customized to your liking. So next time you're looking for a pick-me-up, try one of these slushies!
