Tips:

  • Mise en place: Before you start cooking, make sure you have all of your ingredients and tools ready to go. This will help you stay organized and avoid any scrambling.
  • Use fresh asparagus: Fresh asparagus is best for this recipe, but you can also use frozen asparagus in a pinch. If using frozen asparagus, thaw it completely before using.
  • Don't overcook the asparagus: Asparagus should be cooked until it is tender-crisp, but not mushy. Overcooked asparagus will become limp and lose its flavor.
  • Use a good quality cheese: The cheese is one of the main ingredients in this dish, so it's important to use a good quality cheese that you enjoy. Sharp cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, or a combination of the two works well.
  • Serve immediately: Chicken asparagus divan is best served immediately after it is made. The casserole will start to lose its texture and flavor if it sits for too long.

Conclusion:

Chicken asparagus divan is a classic dish that is perfect for any occasion. It's easy to make, delicious, and can be tailored to your own taste preferences. Whether you're looking for a quick and easy weeknight meal or a special dish for a party, chicken asparagus divan is a great choice.
