Tips:

  • Choose fresh, ripe cherries: This will ensure the best flavor and texture for your cherry blinks.
  • Use a food processor or blender to chop the cherries: This will make it easier to create a smooth batter.
  • Don't overmix the batter: Overmixing can result in tough, dense blinks.
  • Cook the blinks over medium heat: This will help them to cook evenly without burning.
  • Serve the blinks warm or at room temperature: They are best enjoyed fresh out of the pan.

Conclusion:

Cherry blinks are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. They are perfect for a quick breakfast, snack, or dessert. With their simple ingredients and short cooking time, cherry blinks are a great option for busy weeknights or lazy weekends. Plus, they are a fun way to use up fresh cherries when they are in season.
