This is a delicious side dish with cheese, potatoes, and Ranch! What's not to love?! I am always begged to bring this wherever I go. It is a great complement to a barbeque or any potluck meal. I have experimented with using more chili powder and using seasoning salt instead of regular salt.

Tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients: Fresh, flavorful ingredients will make your stuffing shine. Look for russet potatoes, sharp cheddar cheese, and thick-cut bacon.
  • Don't overcook the potatoes: You want the potatoes to be tender but still hold their shape. Overcooked potatoes will become mushy and ruin the texture of your stuffing.
  • Use a generous amount of cheese: Cheese is the key ingredient in this stuffing, so don't be shy about using it. A good rule of thumb is to use about 1 cup of cheese per pound of potatoes.
  • Add some crunch: The bacon and celery add a nice crunch to this stuffing. If you want even more crunch, you can also add some chopped walnuts or pecans.
  • Season to taste: Every palate is different, so be sure to taste your stuffing and adjust the seasonings accordingly. You may want to add more salt, pepper, or garlic powder.

Conclusion:

This cheesy bacon ranch potato stuffing is a delicious and easy-to-make side dish that is perfect for any occasion. It is packed with flavor and sure to please everyone at your table. So next time you are looking for a new stuffing recipe, give this one a try. You won't be disappointed!
