Tips:

  • Use high-quality ingredients. The better the ingredients, the better the caramel nut logs will be. Use real butter, pure vanilla extract, and high-quality chocolate.
  • Don't overcook the caramel. It should be thick and golden, but not too dark or hard. If you overcook it, it will be difficult to work with and will not taste as good.
  • Be careful when handling the hot caramel. It can easily burn you, so use oven mitts or potholders when necessary.
  • Let the caramel nut logs cool completely before cutting them. This will help them to hold their shape and prevent them from crumbling.
  • Store the caramel nut logs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. You can also freeze them for up to 3 months.

Caramel nut logs are a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for any occasion. They are also a great way to use up leftover caramel.
