EASY APPLE SQUARES (CAKE BARS)
Super moist and easy-to-make apple squares. Made with cinnamon, brown sugar, these delicious cake bars are very moist, thanks to the vegetable oil and the plain Greek yogurt. And they get even moister after the first day! The apple squares are pretty much an apple cake sliced into imperfect squares.

Tips:
- Use a sharp knife to cut the apples into even-sized pieces. This will help them cook evenly.
- If you don't have a food processor, you can grate the apples by hand. Just be sure to grate them finely so that they blend well into the batter.
- You can use any type of milk in this recipe, but whole milk will give the squares a richer flavor.
- Be careful not to overmix the batter. Overmixing will make the squares tough.
- Bake the squares until they are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the squares cool completely before frosting them. This will help the frosting set properly.
Conclusion:
This breakfast cinnamon and apple squares recipe is a delicious and easy way to start your day. The squares are packed with flavor from the apples, cinnamon, and nutmeg. They're also moist and fluffy, thanks to the use of buttermilk in the batter. The cream cheese frosting adds a touch of sweetness and richness that takes these squares over the top. Whether you're serving them for breakfast, brunch, or dessert, these squares are sure to be a hit.
