1 loaf (1 pound) day-old French bread, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
1-1/2 cups fresh or frozen unsweetened blueberries
12 ounces cream cheese, softened
8 large eggs
1/2 cup plain yogurt
1/3 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 cup whole milk
1/3 cup maple syrup
Additional blueberries, optional
Additional maple syrup

Steps:

  • Place half of the bread cubes in a greased shallow 3-qt. baking dish. Sprinkle with blueberries. , In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Beat in the eggs, yogurt, sour cream, vanilla and cinnamon. Gradually add milk and 1/3 cup syrup until blended. Pour half over the bread. Top with the remaining bread and cream cheese mixture. 1 cup confectioners' sugar
2 tablespoons milk
1 tablespoon vanilla extract, divided
2 cups blueberries, divided
2 loaves French bread, cubed
2 cups milk
8 eggs

½ teaspoon ground nutmeg

Steps:

  • Mix cream cheese, confectioners' sugar, 2 tablespoon milk, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract in a bowl until smooth and creamy; fold in 1 cup blueberries.

2 tablespoons cornstarch

1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/3 cup finely chopped pecans
1/3 cup cold butter
CAKE:
1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup milk
1-1/2 cups blueberries

  • In a bowl, combine the first four ingredients; cut in the butter until crumbly. Set aside. In a bowl, cream butter and sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Stir in vanilla.
