Tips:

  • Choose the Right Potatoes: Select small, waxy potatoes like baby red potatoes or Yukon Gold potatoes as they hold their shape well during cooking.
  • Parboiling the Potatoes: Parboiling helps to cook the potatoes partially, ensuring they cook evenly later and preventing them from becoming too crispy on the outside while remaining raw on the inside.
  • Use a Large Pan: Use a large pan to ensure the potatoes have enough space to cook evenly and avoid overcrowding.
  • Don't Crowd the Potatoes: Avoid overcrowding the pan with potatoes as it can prevent them from cooking evenly and becoming crispy.
  • Stir the Potatoes Occasionally: Stir the potatoes occasionally during cooking to ensure they cook evenly and prevent them from sticking to the pan.
  • Use the Right Butter: For the best flavor, use unsalted butter as it allows you to control the amount of salt in the dish.
  • Add Seasonings Gradually: Add the seasonings like garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika gradually, tasting as you go to ensure the potatoes are seasoned to your preference.
  • Garnish with Fresh Parsley: Garnish the cooked potatoes with fresh parsley for a pop of color and an extra layer of flavor.
