BIRTHDAY COOKIE
I got this out of my JC Penny/United Way Cookbook 1996. I've made this several times when the boys were younger - they loved it and they loved helping decorate them.

Tips:
- Use high-quality ingredients: This will make a big difference in the taste of your cookies.
- Don't overmix the dough: Overmixing will make the cookies tough.
- Chill the dough before baking: This will help the cookies hold their shape.
- Bake the cookies at the right temperature: If the oven is too hot, the cookies will brown too quickly and the insides will be undercooked. If the oven is too cool, the cookies will take too long to bake and will be dry.
- Let the cookies cool completely before frosting them: This will help the frosting set properly.
Conclusion:
Birthday cookies are a delicious and festive treat that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. By following the tips above, you can make sure that your birthday cookies turn out perfect every time.
