THE BEST DANG RIB SAUCE, PERIOD

The Best Dang Rib Sauce, Period image

This sauce began as a dare to top an ex-boyfriend's father's locally famous sauce. Something magical happens when it hits the grill! Don't forget to add to the ribs in the last 5 to 10 minutes of cooking, or else the high sugar content will scorch. Don't let the strong smell of vinegar scare you while cooking; the flavor of the sauce after cooking does not reflect the scent that fills the kitchen while cooking.

Tips:

  • Choose the right ribs. Baby back ribs are the most popular type of ribs for making barbecue sauce, but you can also use spare ribs or St. Louis-style ribs.
  • Make sure the ribs are trimmed properly. Remove any excess fat or membrane from the ribs before cooking.
  • Use a good quality barbecue sauce. There are many different barbecue sauces available, so choose one that you like the taste of.
  • Cook the ribs properly. Ribs should be cooked slowly and at a low temperature until they are tender and fall off the bone.
  • Let the ribs rest before serving. This will allow the juices to redistribute throughout the ribs and make them even more tender.

Conclusion:

Making your own barbecue sauce is a great way to add flavor to your ribs. With a little experimentation, you can create a sauce that is perfect for your taste. So next time you're having a barbecue, give one of these recipes a try. You won't be disappointed.
