Number Of Ingredients 10

1 pound beef shoulder top blade (flat iron) steaks or 1 beef top round steak, cut 3/4-inch thick
1 tablespoon dark sesame oil
2 tablespoons minced fresh ginger
2 large cloves garlic, minced
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
2 cans (13 3/4 to 14 1/2 ounces each) ready-to-serve beef broth

6 cups cooked fresh Asian-style thin-cut noodles or unseasoned instant ramen noodles

  • Meanwhile, divide noodles and beef evenly among 4 large soup bowls.
  • Bring broth mixture to a boil over high heat. Ladle boiling mixture evenly over beef and noodles. Garnish with carrots.

Tips:

  • Mise en Place: Before starting to cook, make sure all ingredients are prepped and measured. This will help the cooking process run smoothly.
  • Use High-Quality Ingredients: The quality of your ingredients will greatly impact the final dish. Use fresh, flavorful ingredients whenever possible.
  • Don't Overcook the Beef: Beef should be cooked to medium-rare or medium to preserve its tenderness and flavor.
  • Use a Wok or Large Skillet: A wok or large skillet will allow you to easily stir-fry the beef and vegetables.
  • Cook in Batches: If you are cooking a large amount of beef, cook it in batches to prevent overcrowding the pan.
  • Use a High Heat: Stir-frying requires high heat to quickly cook the ingredients and prevent them from becoming soggy.
  • Season to Taste: Adjust the amount of soy sauce, oyster sauce, and Sriracha to your liking.
  • Serve Immediately: Stir-fried dishes are best served immediately after cooking.

Conclusion:

This stir-fried beef with garlic, ginger, basil, and udon noodles is a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for a quick and flavorful meal.
