Enjoy for a romantic dinner for 2 at home or prepare a larger quantity for a dinner party. Either way, we rarely have leftovers! Dip chicken, steak, veggies, etc.

Tips:

  • Choose high-quality beef broth or stock as the base for your fondue broth. A good quality broth will provide a rich, flavorful foundation for your fondue.
  • Don't be afraid to experiment with different herbs and spices to create a unique flavor profile for your broth. Some popular additions include garlic, onion, thyme, rosemary, and bay leaves.
  • If you want a thicker broth, you can add a cornstarch or flour slurry. Be sure to whisk the slurry into the broth slowly to avoid lumps.
  • Keep your fondue broth warm over a low flame or in a fondue pot. You don't want the broth to boil, as this will make it less flavorful.
  • Serve your fondue broth with a variety of dipping options, such as bread, vegetables, and meat. You can also provide dipping sauces, such as horseradish sauce or Worcestershire sauce.
