BROCCOLI BEEF POT PIE
Twenty years ago, I ran my own restaurant. For the last 15, I've been a cook at our local school, so I'm always in the kitchen cooking. Whenever I fix this for my husband and me, I give half to my single brother, who shares it with his friends.

- To make sure the beef is cooked through, brown it in a skillet over medium-high heat until it is no longer pink.
- Don't overcook the broccoli. You want it to be tender but still have a bit of a crunch.
- Be careful not to overfill the pie crust. Otherwise, the filling will bubble over and make a mess.
- Bake the pie at a high temperature for the first 15 minutes. This will help to create a golden brown crust.
- Reduce the temperature after 15 minutes and continue to bake the pie until the filling is bubbly and the crust is cooked through.
