I got this one, like so many others out of a book titled "Top Secret Recipes". The book suggests that you serve with coleslaw and corn on the cob.

BARBECUE RIBS
This recipe is easier than it sounds. I usually cook the ribs the day before and grill them for a quick dinner the next night. FYI: the sauce is much better after it is cooked. It is not a dipping sauce.

SIMPLE BBQ RIBS
Country-style ribs are cut from the loin, one of the leanest areas of pork. These ribs are seasoned, boiled until tender, then baked with your favorite barbeque sauce. That's it! Back to simplicity, back to the country life. Sigh.

Tips:
- Choose the right ribs: Baby back ribs or spare ribs can be used for this recipe, but baby back ribs are generally more tender and easier to eat.
- Remove the membrane: The membrane on the back of the ribs can be tough and chewy, so it's important to remove it before cooking. To do this, use a sharp knife to score the membrane along the bone, then pry it off with your fingers.
- Use a good quality rub: The rub is what gives the ribs their flavor, so it's important to use a good quality one. Look for a rub that contains a variety of spices, such as paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cumin.
- Cook the ribs low and slow: Ribs need to be cooked low and slow in order to become tender and flavorful. The ideal cooking temperature is between 225°F and 250°F, and the ribs should be cooked for at least 2 hours.
- Baste the ribs regularly: Basting the ribs with a mixture of apple juice, vinegar, and honey will help to keep them moist and flavorful. Baste the ribs every 30 minutes or so.
- Let the ribs rest before serving: Once the ribs are cooked, let them rest for at least 10 minutes before serving. This will help the juices to redistribute throughout the ribs, making them even more tender and flavorful.
Conclusion:
BB King's BBQ ribs are a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for any occasion. By following the tips above, you can make ribs that are tender, flavorful, and fall-off-the-bone delicious.
