salt, to taste
ground black pepper
1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano

Tips:

  • Choose the freshest salmon fillets you can find. Look for fillets that are firm and have a bright pink color. Avoid fillets that are slimy or have any brown spots.
  • Pat the salmon fillets dry before cooking. This will help the glaze adhere to the fish.
  • Use a good quality balsamic glaze. A good balsamic glaze will be thick and syrupy, with a sweet and tangy flavor. Avoid glazes that are too thin or watery.
  • Cook the salmon fillets over medium heat. This will help prevent the fish from overcooking and drying out.
  • Baste the salmon fillets with the balsamic glaze frequently during cooking. This will help the glaze caramelize and create a delicious crust.
  • Serve the salmon fillets immediately with your favorite sides. Some good options include roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or rice.

Conclusion:

Balsamic glazed salmon fillets are a delicious and easy-to-make dish that is perfect for any occasion. The combination of the sweet and tangy glaze and the flaky salmon is sure to please everyone at the table. So next time you're looking for a quick and easy weeknight meal, give this recipe a try.
