Mama's Million-Dollar Fudge image

No other fudge I've tasted comes close to the smooth, chocolate taste of this recipe, which my mother-in-law introduced me to one Christmas (I've never been able to make it as good as she does, though). Since it makes such a large batch, I always save some for last-minute gifts. -Gloria Heidner, Elk River, Minnesota

Tips:

  • Use high-quality chocolate for the best flavor. A semisweet or bittersweet chocolate with a cocoa content of at least 60% is ideal.
  • Don't overcook the fudge. The mixture should be thick and bubbly, but not boiling. If you overcook it, the fudge will be grainy and crumbly.
  • Let the fudge cool completely before cutting it. This will help it to set properly and prevent it from being too soft.
  • Store the fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. You can also freeze it for up to three months.
  • Garnish the fudge with chopped nuts, sprinkles, or other toppings before serving.

Conclusion:

This one-bowl million-dollar fudge recipe is a delicious and easy-to-make treat that is perfect for any occasion. With its rich chocolate flavor, creamy texture, and decadent toppings, this fudge is sure to be a hit with everyone who tries it.
